Winans Warm Weather Shipping Policy
Warm Weather Friendly Shipments, April through October:
Some Winans candies can be delivered with regular packaging and standard shipping all year round. Chocolate however, melts when the weather gets warm. To ensure you receive your chocolate in the best possible condition, during the warm weather months of April through October, our shipping policy is as follows:
- All Winans chocolates and candies that are heat-sensitive are delivered in insulated containers with reusable cold packs. During these months, chocolate orders will automatically be shipped via 2-day delivery (additional shipping costs apply).
- Orders received Wednesday-Friday will ship the following Monday to reduce the time spent in transit or sitting in a hot warehouse or delivery vehicle.
- April through October, we do not ship chocolate and heat-sensitive candies to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, US territories or international addresses.
- Because of heat and melting issues, Winans does not ship internationally.
- Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
